About the Easter trail
Families visiting Pittville Park over the Easter holidays could pop into Central Cross Cafe or the Sundae Shack next door to pick up their Easter Trail clues. Each trail sheet cost just £1.50 and included a mini seed pack to take home, making it a lovely low-cost activity for children.
The trail encouraged families to get outdoors, explore the park and enjoy some Easter fun together, all while raising money for Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

A brilliant local response
More than 100 families took part in the trail. Even snowy weather did not put people off, with many families wrapping up and heading out to support the fundraiser.
£457.50 is on its way to Cheltenham Animal Shelter from the Cheltenham Rocks and In The Park Ltd Easter Trail.
The money raised helped support the shelter’s vital work, including the upkeep, veterinary needs and day-to-day care of the animals currently at the shelter.
Community fundraising in Cheltenham
The Easter Trail was a lovely example of local businesses and organisations working together to create something simple, affordable and meaningful for families. It also showed the power of the Cheltenham community, with parents and children coming together to support a local cause while enjoying time outdoors.
Cheltenham Rocks would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the fundraiser such a success.
Why this matters
Local family events like this do more than entertain children during the school holidays. They help bring communities together, support important local charities and create memorable experiences for families. The Pittville Park Easter Trail did all three.
