Our Story
My Town Rocks™ started with a simple idea: families deserve a trusted place to discover what's happening in their local area. From soft play centres to family restaurants, from weekend events to school holiday activities - parents needed a single source of truth for family-friendly options nearby.
In 2016 our founder Laura started Cheltenham Rocks, and what began as a single town website has grown into a network of over 40 websites across the UK, each one lovingly curated to help families make the most of their area.
We've built genuine communities where parents share recommendations, businesses connect with engaged local customers, and towns come alive with activity.
Today, thousands of families rely on My Town Rocks™ every day to plan their time together, find new places to explore, and support the local businesses that make their communities special.

Based in Gloucestershire where it all began, Sally helps grow the My Town Rocks™ network and launch new sites alongside running her own thriving guide, Stroud Rocks.
